She put wet newspaper at the bottom because worms like to be wet. After that, we put some organic dirt in because the worms need to be healthy.Then she put some more wet newspaper in.Then she finally put the worms in. They were not just regular worms, they were red wrigglers. They were very small and red too! Did you know that there's no such thing as a boy worm or girl worm? All worms can lay eggs. Egg shells are nutritious to the soil. I thought that was cool. I think worms are cool. I think the compost was cool because of how she made it. I think worms are super cool!
